Ecofil has been awarded a significant framework agreement by three Dublin local authorities, for the supply of outdoor bottle filling stations over the next four years.
The new partnership demonstrates Ecofil’s commitment to sustainability and innovation, with the Iconic-V machine taking centre-stage.
Ecofil, a leader in sustainable water solutions and part of the ERG Group of companies, designed and manufactures the the Iconic-V machine in Ireland.
The contactless bottle filling station is widely recognised for its efficiency and impact.
Since its launch in 2024, it has been installed in 18 local authority areas across Ireland; along with several installations completed in Northern Ireland.
As a smart machine the Iconic-V is able to track critical data. Key metrics include the volume of water dispensed; and, as a result of using the sustainable water dispenser, the number of plastic bottles saved from landfill.
The rollout of the Iconic-V machines has started, with 18 installations set to be completed in the Fingal County Council local authority area over the coming weeks.
This represents a significant milestone in supporting local communities, while at the same time advancing environmental goals.
